An Invitation from Pastor Mike Banks
I want to invite you to our upcoming Missions Conference at DRBC, happening from March 1st to 3rd. Our theme for this year is "Looking Out My Window," inspired by the words of Jesus when He said, "Lift up your eyes."
In these challenging times, it's easy to become preoccupied and busy with hectic lives. But Jesus reminds us to look beyond, to see the world with His eyes and His heart. Combining verses in Matthew 9:36 and John 4:35, we see our theme's inspiration.
"When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd." (John 4:35) "Do you not say, 'There are yet four months, then comes the harvest'? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest." (Matthew 9:36) Together, these verses emphasize Jesus' deep compassion for the lost and His call to His disciples to recognize the spiritual need and urgency of the harvest. Both passages convey the importance of responding to the needs of others and actively engaging in spreading the Gospel.

I truly believe that God will use this conference not only to enrich your spiritual life but also empower you to make a difference in our community and around the world. We have a great conference planned featuring updates from five of our missionary families who will be visiting with us. Check out the schedule below and let us come together in fellowship and prayer, as we seek to follow Jesus' command to "lift up our eyes."

In order to bless and honor our visiting missionaries, we would like to give each of the five families who will be with us $1,000. We presently have $2,000 toward that goal, but still need to raise another $3,000.
